Corking, Capping And Caging Machines, Openers, Pourers
Go for quality corks . . . homebrewers don't have the equipment required to force quality dry corks into a fragile glass bottle neck. Why ruin a quality wine by soaking corks, and then compressing them as they enter the bottle releasing contaminates into your wine? BrewSmarter won't stock products that don't work, it's not good business for us or our customers.
Same story for cappers and caps.
In order to reduce the risk of glass shards breaking off the tops of bottles during the capping process, it is very improtant to use a quality capper, and quality bottles. To remove the risk entirely, use Coopers Ox-Bar 24 500ml PET Bottles (better than glass bottles) or use swing top bottles.
Hand corkers don't work . . . unless you use a hammer.
