Wine Equipment Starter Kits
Optimum wine starter kits for your budget
To see just how easy bottling should be, have a look at our bottling video on YouTube: Bottling Made Easy. He is using a Craft Range Bottle Tree and a Craft Range Rinser. If you use these with Chemipro OXI or Starsan, then you don't even have to rinse the bottles! When you buy certain starter kits, you can select bundle options to get all of these at close to a third of the normal price. The rinser can be used on a table top, or it can be attached to the top of the bottle tree.
The Hambleton Bard Complete Wine Starter Set With Secondary Fermenter contains all the equipment you need to make 30 bottles of great tasting wine, and it's a very cost effective way to get started.
But the one we recommend is the BrewSmarter Syphonless Wine Starter Kit. It's the only wine making kit we know of worldwide that gets rid of syphons (syphons typically cause all sorts of problems including oxidation, and bacterial infection). It doesn't have the bits you probably don't need, like shrink wraps and labels (you can buy these separately in the Equipment section). It contains everything you will need to make wines of a quality far surpassing those you can buy in a supermarket.
Wine making equipment starter kits don't contain a wine ingredients kit; you can find them in the Wine Ingredient Kits section. For beginners, we recommend the Cantina Pinot Grigio, a very drinkable white wine costing about a Euro a bottle and ready to drink in just 5 days. The more experienced might try the Advintage kits, superb value as we are launching them here at close to to wholesale pricing.
During the winter months a heating belt (brew belt) is invaluable when it comes to keeping your fermenting wine at the correct temperature (see the Equipment section).
